The Greater Area Houston Red Cross - South Bay Area Branch was founded in 1984. Serving Clear Lake, TX and Southeast Harris and North Galveston Counties, this branch office is housed in the United Way facility in Clear Lake.
You can now take a class on-line at home, your office, anyplace you have access to a computer. To receive a student certificate you will need to come into our office and complete a skills test on what you've learned on-line. The skills testing is scheduled for 3 hours, but may be less based upon the class you have taken. You must pass the skills test to receive a certification.......that's it....and let the learning begin
Volunteering
- There are numerous opportunities available for those who want to lend their time and support as a Red Cross volunteer. The South Bay Area Branch is currently seeking volunteers for: Disaster Services, Health and Safety Education, Youth Education, Public Speaking, Community Disaster Education Instructors, Transportation Services and many other volunteer positions.
