March 2, 2010 - Heros for the Central Bay Red Cross office raised $2,200.00 in an hour today. Money raised supports the Heroes for the American Red Cross campaign. This is a grassroot effort to recruit individuals or companies in our communties to each raise or donate a minimum of $1,000 toward the campaign. Funds raised will continue to support the programs and services which Red Cross provides.
Services provided out of this branch office include:
- Disaster Relief assistance to families impact by home or apartment fire.
- Community Disaster Education
- Disaster Preparedness Presentations
- Emergency Communications to members of Armed Forces and their families.
- First Aid/CPR/AED Courses
- Baby Sitting Courses
- Transportation Services

- There are numerous opportunities available for those who want to lend their time and support as a Red Cross volunteer. The Padadena Branch is currently seeking volunteers for: Disaster Services, Health and Safety Education, Youth Education, Public Speaking, Community Disaster Education Instructors, and many other volunteer positions.
