City of Houston Learn to Swim 2009 

The 2009 Houston Parks and Recreation Learn-to-Swim program is being offered through a partnership with the Greater Houston Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. It is a program designed to introduce beginning swimmers to water safety, teach basic water skills and improve stroke development. There is even a separate class for adults.

• Classes are scheduled Tuesday-Friday, each session being 8 meetings.
• A parent or guardian MUST be present at the pool during each class meeting.
• No Refunds or make-up classes will be given due to inclement weather conditions or absences.
• No Refunds will be given once a session has started.
• Class fee is $25.00 per student.
