October 30, 2010  - Red Cross Ramble - A one day bike ride at George Ranch Historical Park in Richmond, TX. The anticipated 1000 riders will have four different routes from which to choose. Starting at 25 miles, all the way up to 100 miles. This is a unique event in that the rider can bring their family and spend the day at the Ranch. This is not just a ride, it is a family event!

January 22, 2011- Super Ball X -  The SuperBall party continues to be a must-attend event for the Movers and Shakers of Fort Bend County. Last year more than 650 people dressed ‘football casual’, enjoyed the live band, ate great tailgating food, played sports games and bid on the live and silent auction items. Proceeds benefit the Southwestern Red Cross Branch, which serves Fort Bend County. Details to come.
 
   
February 11, 2011Mass CPR/AED Training - The Greater Houston Area Red Cross, The Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center,  Texas Arrhythmia Institute and The Houston Texans are joining together to teach Houstonians how to Save a Life on Saturday  February 11, 2011.  Visit houstonsavealife.org for more details to come soon.


March 10, 2011-Preparedness on the Square-This lunchtime event has a “street festival” feel with music, food, activities, prizes, and fun. This annual event attracts downtown workers, 1500 in 2010, providing them with tips on individual preparedness for the upcoming storm season. Proceeds benefit the Disaster Services Department, which assists people displaced by flooding, fires and large disasters. This event will be held from 11:00 am1:00 pm at the Reflection Pool located in front of City Hall. Rain or Shine !   
 
   
May 1-6, 2011(Ride Dates)Tour du Rouge -Join cyclists already registered for theTour du Rouge ride from theBayou City to the Crescent City. This six-day, push-your-limits ride along the Gulf Coast is limited to 300 riders.  But it won't all be hard work, each night you will enjoy good food and entertainment with your fellow riders. Your participation in the Tour du Rouge supports American Red Cross Chapters along the Gulf Coast from Houston to New Orleans. As you ride along the Gulf Coast, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping your neighbors by making life better in these communities.
