The best thing you can do now to mitigate property loss and speed recovery from flooding is to have flood insurance.  In addition, being prepared before the event is essential to your family's ability to safetly cope during the event.


Make sure your family (1) has a Family DISASTER SUPPLIES KIT, (2) has a Family DISASTER PLAN and (3) is INFORMED with the most up-to-date information.
